Calendar Card

Hi everyone ... I've been pretty rough these past few days ... missed my philosophy class and will be missing club night tonight ... hopefully by next week I should be feeling better (hopefully she says fingers crossed) ... At least I've had time to create a little something for this week's challenge at WaltzingMouse based on this sketch ....

... a little something different ....

... using this beautiful MF paper from Kirsty and a gorgeous free image from Vintage Catnip ...

I cut the 3 'frames' using SB Nestabilities and my Sizzix and adhered them to another piece of card
which I folded first making a spine because the front flap lifts up and Voila!!

... there's a little calendar underneath ...

The beautiful ribbon I used is from Stella ... and the pearls are from my stash ... the calendar is a mini from ebay ... All I need to do now is decide if this should go in my bedroom or craft room ... hmmm ...

Thanks to all of you for your lovely comments ... I love reading them and I am so grateful that you took the time to write them ... Tomorrow I will post details of my giveaway

Have a lovely day

~ Ros ~

Stunning Ros. I love that vintage bird image. I have several saved to my Picassa. I haven't used a vintage image in a while. Maybe I need to print some off. What do ya think? :)

I have some catching up to do and you never cease to amaze me with another stunning creation. Such a lovely idea to add a little calendar. You should display rhis beauty in your craft room; it will be lovely to look at it:). I'm glad you could use the ribbon. These MF papers; sigh.... I have one page of this pattern and I love love love it. The same goes for the image; such a beauty.
Well; you could say that I love this card.
I hope you are feeling a bit better.
Enjoy your Saturday evening..XXXX
