WaltzingMouse ...

Hi everyone ... I hope you are all well

... This time next week I will be sitting by a pool on the island of Majorca ... and I have lots to do before then but I took a little time out to make a CAS card for this weeks' challenge at WaltzingMouse based on this sketch

This card is for a friend ...

I say simple ... but it took ages to stitch those little hearts ... and a few goes too!

I drew two lines behind the hearts and stitched across the lines just to give a little definition ...
I love CAS as much as I love vintage and shabby ... and in most cases .. it takes me just as long to make
Which do you prefer? ... I have also been playing with my new Tim Holtz distress stains ... I'll post a card tomorrow of my first attempt ...

Have a lovely day ...
till soon

Ohhhh! Ros this is SUCH a lovely card! That stitching is perfection! Let me tell you, it would take me WAY more than "a few goes" to get it right! I love the texty hearts and the beautiful pink rosebuds and bow! Awesome job with this week's WMSC!

I agree Ros, for me CAS is also very difficult as I tend to overload my cards.

You created it beautifully! I love stitches!

Love your card, Ros! You are so right about how long it takes to make both cards. I like to make all kinds, depends on my mood and what I am using. I am envious of your trip, but know it is well deserved. Have a fun day!

I too love CAS, shabby and vintage design, but I think I prefer shabby and CAS.
Can't wait to see what you create with TH stains!

I adore this card,it looks stunning. I think sometimes a CAS card looks just as gorgeous as a vintage style as in this case. I really would love to scraplift this card if you didn't mind. I look forward to seeing what you've done with the inks, thanks for the link.xxx
