Just playing

Hello ... are you well?
It's cold and very wet here in the UK and I had planned to go into the city to meet my SIL ... but due to the weather and the riots that have been taking place ... we opted for the mall in Warrington ... a bit of  lunch some girlie shopping and then back home for some coffee and a chat.
My best buy today? ... would you believe it was a pair of pliers? ... I got a bargain pair of shoes ... from £35 to £10 but I was more delighted with pliers ... I know ... I'm a sad person ... but see these pliers are jewellery pliers and I have been making little sticky note holders after seeing the beauties created by the very talented Ulina (do take a look at her gorgeous blog) ... and I struggle to make the dangly charms with my ordinary pliers ... I sometime use silver or gold thread to hold the charms but I like to be able to try new things ... anyway that's not what I have to share (made 4 of those books and didn't photograph one before I gave them away... duh!)
I just have a card I made whilst playing with my new Postage folder from TH .... I love this folder ... thanks to Mona Pendleton for sharing ... and this time I embossed a digital postcard from the Graphics Fairy

The little girl with the kitty is a free image from Printable Heaven and I made this is honour of my kitty coming home (hee! hee!)

The background paper is Eline's Huis and there is also a scrap from Prima botanicals in there too ... the gorgeous lace came from Pixie Dust Paperie and I've been holding on to it for ever!

Well that's all for now ... I hope you enjoy your evening and I hope the UK has a peaceful "riot free" night

Till soon

Beautiful card, Ros! Love the image and of course the lovely color! Embossing is such a nice thing to add to a card. So glad you had a nice outing. Hope you have a lovely evening as well.

Ros you have me smiling with today's post! I am so happy your cat returned and what a wonderful tribute your card is! I would be happy about the pliers as well. They will be most beneficial for your dangles. I hope you make some more and share. I are reading the news about the riots and it sure does sound crazy. I hope it quiets down soon and no more people or personal property are injured. How scary! Take care! :-) Amy

Hi Ros.
I would be happy with the pliers too. I do have jewellery pliers, you can't really make jewellery without the correct sized tools.
I need to have a box full of all my own household tools..there is never a screwdriver handy when you want one.
Kitty...coming home...did I miss something...??
Take care! It all seems somewhat calmer now!
