Jingle Belles ... All Buttoned-Up

I'm so glad that Jingle Belles have extended their challenges to fortnightly ... I would have missed the deadline otherwise ...
This challenge is to use buttons or brads ... and if you are like me you probably have lots of them around ... I am still struggling to get into "Christmas" mode ... I just want the Spring to arrive and hopefully a decent Summer ... I've had enough of the cold... the bare trees, the dull skies ... but yesterday I heard a hopeful sound ... a Woodpecker ... each Spring they arrive and it warms my heart to hear their sound
Right I'm waffling ... on to my card

I made a sort of 'mock' wreath by punching a hole through my DP and putting the sentiment behind and then just gluing buttons on

I also used a button on my ribbon ...
The papers I've had for such a long time .. they're called Smirk.
Lauren and Stef over at Jingle Belles have created some lovely cards if you're looking for inspiration and you still have plenty of time to get your card done.

I've got some assignments to see to now so I hope you all have a lovely weekend ..
Till soon

Super card, Ros. I love the pretty none traditional colours and how you made your sentiment wreath.

How lovely that you have woodpeckers. We have lots of blackbirds, which I love. But, we also have quite a lot of magpies, and they are a nuisance:)

Adorable images! Love the button wreath. Wonderful design and I would really have a hard time creating Christmas cards right now too!

So sweet Ros. I am ready for spring too. We always have the woodpeckers, but I don't hear them for a little while longer. I have a big pole system bird feeder, so I see them every day. :)
Hugs~

Beautiful and fun card for Christmas, Ros! I am ready for spring, at least stay around for a while. We go into spring then back to winter, but I do love the rain! Have a wonderful Saturday!

Me ... not such a big fan of the woodpeckers ... they are so darn noisy ... but I am however a fan of spring ... and of this adorable button card ... so glad you joined us at jingle belles.

Adorable image to go along with these sweet papers. Love how you used the brads to fashion such a cute wreath.
Spring is a favourite of mine too. Lots of flocks of different birds traveling through, some staying for a couple of days. There have been unusually large numbers of Robins and they have actually stayed for weeks as we have finally had some rain, so there are worms in the ground that they can now get to. Stall awaiting the cedar waxwings. I know when they have been as they strip the holly berries in less than an hour! Hope I get to see them this year!
