Playing with Prima

Hi there ...
I hope you are well and keeping warm ... My hubby is off to the football match today - rather him than me sitting in the cold!

The sweet girls over at Papercraft Star have a challenge for "Hearts"this week ... ... this is their beautiful inspiration photo

My sweet Aunt is coming to stay in March ... just for a week ... and I want everything to be nice and pretty for her ... so we have decorated a her bedroom and added some new furniture etc., and I made something for one of the walls ... I didn't realise just how difficult it was going to be to photograph so I apologise for the poor quality photos ...

I used some pretty Prima papers for the background and cut out different sized butterflies and a heart using pretty MF paper and just layered them

Really simple I know ... but pretty effective doncha think?

So I'll be linking this up to the challenge ...

And whilst I had these papers to hand I made a little pocket to tuck in some gift vouchers for my SIL who has a birthday next week

So that's it for today ... I hope you have a lovely Sunday ...
Till soon

~ Ros ~

How pretty your frame is for the guest arriving. Made me think I should 'spruce up' our guest room a bit. Love the little pocket you made too.

This is absolutely beautiful, such pretty work of art. Enjoy the weekend, your hubby must be a dedicated football fan to watch in this cold weather.xxx

Ros, Both projects are so lovely, Love the wall piece and that gift voucher bag is wonderful! I used to shop at Debenhams! Thanks for joining us at the Papercraft Star challenge this week. I got to meet Anitra this week for lunch. she only lives about 20 miles from me. It is a small world. Have a wonderful weekend!

Lovely Lovely!

(I know Debenhams... have been shopping there several times... long ago in my dear good old England.)

But the most important thing now is your lovely creations, Ros!

The idea that you created this for your aunt to decorate the guestroom is so thoughtful and sweet of you. She will be over the moon and on cloud nine when she sees this :)
Your pocket to tuck in a gift card is a gift of its own; so chic!

That frame is gorgeous, great idea - and as usual also very well done. Your aunt is very lucky to have everything so nicely set up for her.
