Family

It's been a wonderful week so far ... Spending time with my Aunt ... laughing the hours away like two schoolgirls ... How I shall miss her when she goes home.
On Sunday we celebrated her 85th Birthday ... this is the card I made for her

I took a photo of the inside but it isn't too clear ... I stencilled some butterflies using the negative from a die cut and some chalks

Here are a couple of photos too

Both my Aunt and I on our walking sticks ... my brother carrying Sophia and my son behind

My two beautiful boys ... my adored son Mikey and my great nephew Ross ... It was so lovely to see Ross again ... my heart just swells with love for him

A couple of days later Aunt and I went for an English 'high tea'

we bumped into a friend who presents a program on BBC Radio Merseyside .... needless to say the following day my Aunt got a mention and a happy birthday on "Air"

I haven't done any crafting at all this week but we spent a fair amount of time in the hobby shop and bought some goodies ... so nice to spend time with someone who loves creating as much as me ... And yesterday ... we visited the Apple shop ... Aunt got an iPad and is now having a wonderful time playing around! Sheesh! I really hope I've inherited her genes!

Thank you for letting me share with you ... have a lovely day

Well Ross I came down the page here to look at your other cards (which are beautiful) but I love looking at your family photos too, beautiful pictures and your Aunt seems as clever as my Mum who is nearly 80 and still enjoys playing with all her electrical gadgets lol.
Take care and have a lovely week. Teresa xx

Your aunt must have absolutely loved the card you made for her. It's so... vivid! It was nice to see the pictures, too - and I did notice both your walking sticks before I read the text. You'll get rid of yours soon!! (I hope).
