Sunday Blessings

Hello there ....
I've been a bit worn out lately ... so sorry no postings for a few days ...
But I did make the Jubilee celebration party at Thursday Club ... How it lifts my heart to see the group come alive to the music ... Society calls them "Special Needs" ... But in truth ... all they 'need' is love and each and everyone of them is Special ...
And we were so proud that one of our young men was chosen to carry the Olympic Torch last Friday ...

Someone else who needs their spirits lifting is a sweet and dear friend who has had her fair share of troubles lately and then had her son taken ill with suspected meningitis ... Echos of the past came to haunt her ... Thankfully prayers were answered and he is on the road to recovery ... So this card is for her

I used a beautiful verse from Word Art Wednesday ... my first time playing along with their challenge... even if you don't play along ... pay them a visit ... they have such inspiring verses to share

For design inspiration I played along with the sweet ladies at Jugs who have provided this lovely sketch this week

I hope you enjoy your Sunday ... It's wet and cool here ... which is such a shame for the Jubilee celebrations ... so many people have put a lot of effort into street parties etc., But a bit of rain never deterred the Brits!

Till soon ...

~ Ros ~

Hi Ros: What a beautiful interpretation of this sketch, and I just LOVE how you used the scripture as the focal point. It's just gorgeous, and I'm SO grateful to have you joining us in this week's challenge at Word Art Wednesday. I'm glad the free scripture is a blessing to you, and I thank you for the shout out here in your blog post. May God bless you for being an encouragement to us.
