Just waiting

Hi there ...
Thank you so much for your kind words and well wishes for my Aunt ... and thank you for your prayers ...
The news is not good ... she is not responding to treatment and they are having to grow cultures to see if they can find something to help her ... I went to see her yesterday and she was quite low - in fact she said she'd had enough of fighting now ... it took a lot to hold back the tears in my eyes ... she is concerned about me and I am trying to be light .. Let her think I am fine ... when really I'm not.
The news this morning is that she has had a bad night ...
The ward she has been moved to has strict visiting hours ... I can only be there a short time and I sit here in her house just wishing I could be with her ... just to hold her hand and share the silence ... It's hard ... But the ward sister is unrelenting ... I can't be with her

I brought some crafting stuff with me but I can't get motivated ... and in all the rush of leaving home I forgot to bring the cable to upload my photos to share things I have done ...
Fortunately I have a card that I made before I left ... Just a simple Christmas card which I will link up to Jingle Belles

This is a Memory Box die and the background I did in Photoshop

Not sure if you can see the glitter ...

The sentiment is from Pink Petticoat
I prepared a few of these to assemble whilst I am here ... if I get around to it ...

I hope you have a good day

Till soon

~ Ros ~

Your card is beautiful, Ros. A very tranquil scene and colours.
Sorry to hear that your aunt is not doing too well. I hope she responds to treatment soon and that her spirits will be lifted. Take care! x

My thoughts and prayers are with you both, Ros! Keep us updated!

Your card is just beautiful, too! I really love the neutral color palette... so gloriously wintery!

Uh-oh... that doesn't sound good about your Aunt at all. But maybe she gets her spirits up again after a couple of days rest and then finds the will to fight again. And don't you worry: even if you can't be with her all that long, she KNOWS you're right there "with" her.
On another note: your card is stunning! I love it! And if you need the distraction of blogging and uploading your pictures, it might be worth getting a new cable somewhere in town... you can keep it in your travel bag afterwards and always have one at hand.

I'm so sorry that they're not giving you better news about your aunt. She's so blessed to have you there to care for her even if you can't do it physically 24/7. Take care of yourself too Ros. :-) Your white on white is beautiful. BIG hugs!
