Snowman fun

Hello and good morning to you ...
Well my Aunt was not discharged yesterday and she was so disappointed .. So was I ... I've been here on my own for a week now ... But we are expecting that today will be the day - God willing...

Where I am in Lincoln is just down the road from home of the the famous Red Arrows aerobatics team

So I am fortunate to be treated to a display every morning... They are incredible!

I have my DT project  to share for this weeks' challenge over at City Crafter where the lovely Charlene hosting for us ... Charlene is asking that we create a card or project that
includes a Snowman and use Non traditional colours

For my card I used an image of "The"Snowman ... who doesn't love that guy

And I framed him using a chipboard frame which I covered with text paper from Pink Petticoat and sprinkled with glitter

The wood effect background paper is from Docrafts Wellington range and on top of that is DP by Grace Taylor ... definitely neither are traditional Christmas papers!
You've seen this holly stamp before (PaperMania) but this time it is stamped onto blue paper from my scraps

A Prima flower, some Stickles and liquid pearls complete the look
The rest of the team have some lovely samples for you so hop on over the the blog and take a look ...

See you there!

Have a beautiful day

Sure is a FUN snowman card there, whenever you used this snowman image, it always reminded me of my son Lione, he just love the story of snowman and I read to him over and over again when he was little!
I hope your aunt can come home soon!

Oh! I love this, Ros. I have lots of 'Snowman' chipboard items and never used them. You have inspired me. I love how you embellished your gorgeous card.
You have done so well to keep creating while you're not at home. It can't be easy when you don't have everything to hand xx

I also love watching the Red Arrows, they came here last summer for RAF Benson's family day. I love the power of the planes and the skill of the pilots. It almost makes your heart stop doesn't It? ...with excitement.
Hope you have good news about your aunts discharge date.
:)
