White on White

The challenge this week at Papercraft Star is white on white
Jan has picked this lovely inspiration photo for you ...

White on white is something I struggle with ... I mean there are so many different shades of white which in itself can be a challenge ... My blogs friend Sasha and Diane always make the most stunning white on white cards ... Nevertheless ... I managed to come up with a card which is for my friends Wedding Anniversary ... white on white with a little touch of cream ... like the photo

Believe it or not ... I bought those roses as white ... against the card they look cream

I cut the borders and the fern from Memory Box dies and used a Tim Holtz embossing folder
for the background

I am really looking forward to seeing what the other ladies on the DT have come up with and I would love to see your creations too so won't you join us this week?

Till soon be safe

Love those white ferns - beautiful card, Ros!!

This is gorgeous, Ros. The ferns look lovely against the background. I have the same problem with 'white' pre made flowers, they never look truly white.

I love white on white so I'm hoping to find time play in this challenge.

Keep warm! xx

Beautiful, Ros! White on white are my favourite cards, and I love how you have created yours. Your flower spray is gorgeous!
I do believe that your flowers are white, as I had the exact outcome with the photo on my last white on white card, the flowers look cream xx

White on white is a challenge that I love.. And what I love about your elegant card is the mix of subtle ferns, the embossed pattern of your background, the border and the flowers. Different and they go so well together. Love this!

Oh Ros this is a stunner! You found a perfect way to use that fern die. It's rather large and using it the way you have fits so beautifully. The embossing is a really nice extra touch too. Truly lovely! Hugs!
