My Colours ...

Hi there ...
Today at Papercraft Star the new challenge is to use your Kichen Colours
This is the inspiration photo

A lovely photo and not unlike my colours which are
are light cream units, dark cream tiles and duck egg blue walls with silver fitments and blinds ... the work tops are woodgrain ... All lovely colours for me to work with ...

I took an old jam jar and swirled duck egg paint into it ... let it dry and then the fun part was decorating it ...

I ran cord around the neck of the jar and hot glued it in place ... added some cream burlap - stamped and embossed some calico with silver ink and a text stamp then cut out some flowers from it
The little burlap flowers represent my work top ... a crochet flower and a silver brad just complete it

My card uses some digital paper by Jen Allyson .. again some silver embossing and the other embellishments follow those on my jar ... You can click the photos to enlarge

The little jar sits prettily on my kitchen windowsill and I'm sure I will make more of these

Please come and join us this week and show us your kitchen colours ... I'm off to see what the rest of the lovely design team have to share ... Here's the link if you care to follow me ...

Enjoy your day and Thanks for stoping by ...
Till soon

What a great couple they make - love them both! When I read "my colours" in the feed I was guessing and went for pale blue and beige ;-) My kitchen is yellow and pink - I wonder whether I can come up with something for this challenge...

Love that color combo Ros. What a sweet jar. That's a great idea painting the inside of the jar, I'll have to remember that one.
