Signs of Spring and Watercolour

Signs of Spring in my garden

I know I know! ... I should be doing something useful ... like packing my case ... drawing up a holiday check list ... But I want to play ...
I was looking for something ... my crackle paint actually ... which seems to have 'mysteriously' disappeared ... I have my suspicions - after finding a bunch of my acrylics stashed in 'someone's' paint cupboard!
I didn't find what I was looking for ... but I did find a box of watercolour pencils ...
I can't even remember buying them - and they've never been used

Equally I am ashamed to say that I have never inked up a beautiful stamp set sent to me by Jacqueline (oh I love her work)

So ...... I thought I'd give this new (to me) technique that's all over blogland at the moment ... Ok, not perfect ... but hey! I've never done this before ... and it was such fun

Watercoloured flowers
The stamp is by Hero Arts and I embossed it first in white embossing powder
... that little bird and cage were hiding in my bits box

The other stamps are from Inkylicious and the paper is a digital from Digital House Design by Agnes Biro (No longer available)

Right, I'm off to do something useful ...

Have a lovely day

Gorgeous, this is also something I want to try. Love your spring photos, you should see my yard, at least 3 feet of snow still and we are supposed to get more :( Oh well :)

So love your signs of spring, Ros, our winter so was so warm I only had a few Narcissus and Hyacinths, no Daffodil blooms! I am happy you are seeing those signs. I love your card, love the birdcage and the water colored blooms. Have a wonderful Sunday!

How sweet your card looks, it so belongs to spring! And I also love the fact that you´ve kept your bird outside the cage, because that´s where birds belong! Oh, you should hear the bird tweet sounds in our garden every morning, oh so lovely... Love the blossoms in your garden Ros! Hugs, Ira xox

I'm so glad you got distracted from the "useful" projects! That's such a cute card... these flowers are so pretty. Well, both the stamped / water colored one and the ones from your garden!
