Lace & Polka Dots

Hello there

Today's the day my Aunt has her hip replacement and I can hardly wait to hear that it's done and that she is fine ... I passed on your best wishes and she asked me to thank you all for thinking of her ... I thank you too ...

Well it's also a new challenge at Papercraft Star today and this week it's ...
Polka Dots & Lace!

I'm not sure I'm happy with this card ... I did it a while ago ... and looking at it now ... well, I'm not sure

The grey background dot paper is a digital from Pink Petticoat and the aqua coloured one is from a Tim Holtz paper pack

The bow is made from paper ... it looks like raffia when you buy it - all folded ... so I gently unfolded a piece and tied a bow and added some little flowers, lace and a border of bling

Perhaps it will look better with a sentiment but I generally hold back until I know who it's going to ... then put something appropriate ... Still it does look Spring like and cheerful

I'd love to see what you come up with ... I hope you'll come and play along with us ...
I'm off to the Blog to see what my lovely team mates have come up with ... won't you join me?

Till soon

~ Ros ~

Sending my best wishes that all goes well for your aunt. I'm sure she will be fine. I had my last hip replacement done on the Friday and was home by Monday. Is she having her op by epidural? xx
