Summer's Here!

Good morning!
How was your weekend?
We had a beautiful weekend ... full of warm sunshine ... dare I say it but it looks like summer is here ...
I know there are hurricanes and tornados hitting certain parts of the US ... I can't even begin to image what you are going through but my prayers and thoughts are with you ...

Last week we celebrated my brother Ron's birthday ... we got together for lunch and my adorable great nephew Ross came too ... It was so lovely to catch up with him
This is the card I made for my brother

I've had fun using these MME papers ... adding washi tape

... cutting stars in different sizes and layering them ...

I keep all the little packets of spare buttons and things that come attached to clothes and that brown metal circle and bead are from one of the packets ... they just looked perfect for that star

Before I go ... I'd like to say Thank You to Flourishes for this lovely stamp set I won

... and a Thank You to the ladies at Play Date Cafe for a 'Cream in our coffee' award for challenge #180

I hope you have a beautiful start to your week ... I'll be back tomorrow for the new challenge at City Crafter ... Hope to 'see' you then ...

~ Ros ~

Congratulations on your wins, Ros! The stamp set looks fabulous.
This is a great mix of patterns... love the stars... the twine and washi tape are just perfect together. I'm sure this card was a hit with your brother. Happy to hear you had a wonderful weekend, friend!
It's quite cool here today... 57 degrees right now.. from all the surrounding storms no doubt. A good day for crafting... right?

Great birthday card, masculine without being stereotypical, very clever. Love the use of the washi tapes!

We for once had some great weather too, so not complaining! Have a good week!

You always make such fab masculine cards Ros, this one's spot on, too. Love the silver papers, they work really well with the blue! And congrats on winning that fab stamp, gosh, it's so feminine and I know you will put it to such good use! Hugs, Ira xox

Congrats on your win and honorable mention (was it?)! And on another gorgeous card - it's breathtaking! And summer seems to be making its way to Germany as well... in some parts at least.

What a beautiful card. I have been away from my computer for so long and I missed so much. I have just been strolling through all the post I miss. Lots of gorgeous projects my friend. I just love that cute little card with the bear on it. And I just love the flowers on the card you made for Papercraft star.

I had a wonderful vacation but I sure did miss my blog friends.

Hugs~
