Me & You Album

Hi there!

I have a little chunky album to show you which I made for my husband's new DIL

My DH must think he's in the secret service ... I only get told things on a "need to know" basis, hence I only found out on friday that his son and DIL would be coming to see us on Sunday and that they were off to Australia soon ... So this little album was a rush job and as we missed the wedding due to DH being in hospital ... I only had a few phone photos to work with

The album is a total mish mash of different papers and embellishments

... and I used a lot of things my blog friends have sent me too, like that pretty spray of pink stones

Albums are great for using up little bits and pieces

This cute arrow had been hiding away for years

...along with glittery letters and unused die cuts

I love adding texture with fabrics scraps and making little pockets

...To conceal photos or journalling

The happy couple loved it and that makes it all worthwhile

On another note -sick cats
... My Aunt called to say her cat was not well. my friend was distraught because her cat was sick and had to stay at the vets ... and my two have also been ill.
I was the vets early
this morning
with a howling Gispsy ... she's had a painkiller injection for her cystitis and I have some meds to give her which will hopefully get her better and maybe, just maybe I can get some sleep... I am, after all £100 lighter in the pocket and I've been up at 5am every morning for days now ... to say I'm tired is an understatement ...

Blogger has not been very cooperative either lately ... is it just me?

I hope you're having a better week

Take care and thanks for looking in on me

Till soon

~ Ros ~

Ha, you just threw this together in a rush?? I can't imagine what you could possibly have come up with had you had more time! It's absolutely fabulous and I can see their excitement about it!
Tell all the cats (and especially yours) to get well soon! I hope you'll get more sleep soon, too.

Oh, you are so, so talented, Ros! To have created this exceptional mini-album at a moment's notice just leaves me with a gaping mouth!! It looks as if you worked on it for months and months!! What a beautiful treasured memento you gave them!

I'm sorry about the felines feeling yucky. I hope your kitty is well soon and that you get caught up on your sleep!! Take care, hon! Hugs, Darnell

Hi Ros. Dry cat food like IAMS can cause cystitis in cats. We give my cat a mix of wet and dry food and the problem
has not re-occurred!
Wishing you not to empty your purse completely :)

Oh and I keep forgetting to tell you, about your email recommended captain Phillips, how funny was that, I was watching that on my flight to Singapore, and then the planed landed before I could finish the show, but I managed to continue the last part on my flight back to United states, on a different airline.

Love all the bits and pieces you put together. Sorry about all the animals who are ill as well, just seems like the weather has got everyone feeling a bit upset, hope you get some sleep soon! Happy Thursday!

What an absolutely gorgeous album and a lovely memento for the happy couple, I'm not surprised they loved it. So many beautiful elements I love the butterfly and the pattern it's sitting on plus the black pearls and white lace. Hope things pick up for you soon x

You and me both, girl. Kaden's early morning feeding time is 5 am. We're just a hot mess ;). And I've been so frustrated with blogger, too. Sometimes, it won't let me do anything. Grrr! Hope your cats are on the mend and that you get all the sleep you need SOON.

Your album is perfectly gorgeous! Oh, my, I can just see the smiles and squeals of glee. Such fabulous, little details!

Beautiful album Ros. You always amaze me with how very creative you always are. I can see why the couple would be joyous on receiving such a personal memento. Details.
I hep the cats are doing better and that you are sleeping a little later! Better weather is on the way too ;)
Ps my husband returned from Sowerby and thoroughly enjoyed his stay in the "shire" and was educated on the history background.

What a beautiful photo album. I can see why they loved it. Full of pretty photos and embellishments. You would never know it was a rush job by looking at it. :)

Hope your kitties are doing better by now. I think you saw we had to put my sweet girl to sleep. I hate seeing helpless animals not feel well or suffer. :(
