Jake

Hi there!

Thanks so much for your kind wishes ... my Aunt is doing really well and bustling about fussing over me as usual. It was a long wait at the hospital - a stupid system that gives everyone the same appointment time and then we just sit and wait till they call us ... we were there for over 4 hours.
Still as long as it's successful it was worth it, and so far so good.

I told you some time ago that my Aunt is a talented lady and very much so when it comes to embroidery ... She takes a photo from somewhere and copies it with silk embroidery thread ... Mostly animals. Her friend has a gorgeous black labrador called Jake ... I'd like you to meet him

This is my Aunts embroidery of Jake ... Black is so hard to do but she totally pulled it off here

I'm just tooting her flute (a lovely expression I learned from a friend) because I think at 87 she deserves it!

Sending you all love and hugs from Lincolnshire

Enjoy your weekend

Oh wow, your aunt is really talented! That is such a great piece of art work! Sorry about the long wait, I hate the medical system here in United States too, that makes me really miss home and all the nice and convenience we had over in Singapore!

Fabulous embroidery of the dog, Ros, amazing that your aunt can do this at all, much less at 87! Oh I only hope you and I are still creating at that age! Tell your aunt for me she did a beautiful job, the embroidery is perfection! Happy Saturday, glad she is doing well.

What an incredible talent she has..wow...amazing.....I should send her a picture of my Nellie...lol...glad everything turned out alright and you can maybe just enjoy being with her now!!
I think your kitty came to visit us while you were gone, we came home last night and a yellow male kitty was asleep in my hubby's chair in his "man cave" in the garage...we have a kitty door for our outside kitty, so he must of "let himself in and made himself at home"!! Wish I could of gotten a picture, you wouldn't believe it!!

Good to hear it went well at the hospital and your aunt is doing well. I am behind with my comments and it will take time to catch up. And I love to leave a comment that includes a bit mroe than "beautiful"or "well done" :). Your aunts' embroidery skills are amazing. In fact; this masterpiece took my breath away. And she made it straight from a phot without a pattern? Wow!

And a question...what is tooting a flute? (I am not a native speaker and curious:)...)
Sending a big hug and lots of love...XXXXXXX
