The Same But Different

I'm still looking for my mojo ... I think Gipsy may have run off with it ...
Neither have returned
Today is my big brother's birthday ... yesterday was a male friends' birthday ... They are both the same age as it happens ... so I made 2 cards ... the same theme but slightly different

For my brother - This one

The background was stamped on Watercolour paper using distress stains and some water ...

... the camera cut on my Cameo ... It wasn't until I went into my computer files yesterday that I realised I used virtually the same things to make his card last year ... Obviously his passion is photography ... The good thing is that he probably wont remember what I sent him last year ...

And for our male friend, this card, the same style but slightly different

I think I prefer the second card ... what do you think?

It's still dull and wet here and my holiday glow is fading fast ... sigh

I hope you're having a good week ...

Till soon be safe

~ Ros ~

Disappeared MoJo - now, that's a good way to phrase it . . . My went missing as well . .

BUT, your cards are Marvelous! I am always inspired by your work - thank you for sharing . . .

All best to You!

Two outstanding cards, Ros! I generally do not like these types of cards, but yours are wonderful. Love the camera you created with your silhouette and the colors you used with each card, the background water color is nice as well. Hope both, "boys" enjoy their birthdays and your cards! You haven't lost your mojo! Happy Thursday!

Great idea for a "male" card, I like both of them!! I think your "mojo" is just fine as you always turn out amazing work!! Our weather here is warm at last...it is in the 80's, but where we are headed it is cool, the 50's...we have ran predicted for most of next week...good for the flowers, but not good for me to work in them!! "See" you when I get back!!

Hi Ros!
I love both of these cards. The camera is such a nice masculine focal point and the film strips...I have a camera stamp that has never seen ink...it will later today!
I don't tthink your MoJo has left at all, just other things on your mind. I hope Gypsy comes home very soon.

Hi Ros,
yes both cards are cool, love your cut out of the camera. Your second card looks a bit more modern with the splashes and the colored camera.
Great work!

Great cards - and a great idea for a "male" card. I think I prefer the second one, if I have to choose... but when I had just scrolled down to the first one, I was in awe already!

I think they're both great and love that you created your own backgrounds with the inks. Cool cards!
