When The Unexpected Happens

Hi ...

I never expected that when I did this post for my friend and shared the card I made for her birthday that a week later I would be sharing a sympathy card for her daughter Elizabeth ...
Tragically 2 days after my friend celebrated her birthday, her son in law was killed in a car accident...
Elizabeth is left with 2 young children of just  5 and 2 ...
Somethings are just hard to comprehend ... It was only a few years ago that my friend's son lost his girlfriend in the same way...

He's gone on to find love again and a has a baby daughter now ... I can but hope that in time Elizabeth will be able to find peace and her new beginning...

Really sad story, hope she will be able to continue to live and have happy life. First of all, for the sake of her children...

This is so sad... tragic, not only for his wife but also for the children - - - This reminds me to enjoy every day and accept it as a gift.
Your card is absolutely wonderful! So sensitive/sympathetic (it´s hard to find the right word in a foreign language)...

That's awful dear Ros... Your friends must feel so bereft... And what else can be done except support them and send a sweet card with thoughts of them, yours is very thoughtful and delicate, it will be of great comfort to Elizabeth... Ira x

If there ever was a "wonderful" sympathy card, this would be it. Such a sad and tragic event, though.

A very sad thing indeed, Ros, your card however is beautiful and will surely bring some peace to your friends daughter. Life is short and there are so many blessing in the midst of tragedy, makes one realize we must enjoy each moment! Have a lovely Tuesday, my friend, my heart aches for your friend and those young children.

What a beautiful card for your friend's daughter. I couldn't imagine being a widow with such young children. This will brighten her day a little, I'm sure.
