Happy Birthday Charlene and Christmas at City Crafter

Hello and good morning to you ...

A bit of a long post as today is not only a new challenge at City Crafter, but we are also celebrating our lovely DT member Charlene's Birthday!

Happy Birthday sweet lady!

This card should be waiting for you when you get home ...
I hope you are having a wonderful time and your day is really special

At City Crafter this week we have our lovely Kirsty hosting with a
Christmas in July challenge
(Make a Christmas card)

So here's my 2nd Christmas card this year!

Quite a simple one using the new digital paper line from Pink Petticoat to cut my stars and the word Joy ...

I tried to keep up with trends here by using vellum, sequins and some wrapped silver thread

My fellow DT members have some more inspiration for you up on the blog and of course we'd love it if you left your birthday wishes for Charlene too ...

I have Ross and Sophia coming to see me today so I'd better get organised

Have a beautiful day ... Be safe

~ Ros ~

Hi Ros, both Cards are so beautiful, they look fantastic in the soft tones. The paper with the Struktur makes it even more classy!

I also love your "trendy" Christmas card and love that the design could be used for any occasion!! You are always so creative!

Your card for Char is so pretty Ros, the colours are refined and delicate, the birthday cut out a perfect adornment, as is the pretty bloom! And wow, you most certainly are on a roll my friend, your second Christmas card is such a delight! Love the touch of lime and how you dotted the J with the bird! Hugs, Ira x

Ros your birthday card is stunning...so soft and pretty, even the rough hessian looks great displaying the silver word, the colours make the mauve flower pop... and love the Christmas card too...off to make one as well. Cheers

What a gorgeous birthday card! I love that shiny birthday sentiment and the fun way you've incorporated that trendy string in both cards. I saw Kirsty thought you were going to be upset about creating another Christmas card. LOL I think its great. I like all the texture and the way you layered it. Hugs!
