Shake It Up

Hello ...

I'm hosting the challenge this week at City Crafter  and the challenge I've chosen for us is to
make a shaker card

I'm sure you've all seen the many different types there are in Blogland ... I had a notion to make a 'shaker' jar ... but of course I didn't realise how difficult this would be to photograph ...

... I mean acetate, vellum and silver card stock - not to mention shiny sequins ... Come on Ros, don't you ever learn?

The sentiment is actually stamped onto the inside of the card so you are looking through the acetate

I cut the jar on my Cameo which allowed me to make it a decent size

Our Guest Designer this week, winner of challenge week 215, is Synnove... A very talented Norwegian lady ... Please click on her name to be taken to her blog

The winner of this week's challenge will also be offered a GD spot with us here at CCCB so I hope you'll come and "shake it up" with us

Wishing you a lovely day

~ Ros ~

This is beautiful, lovely shape of the card and great colour choices. I made a round double window shaker card a while back, it's fun.. I might join in :) x

First of all I really really need to apologize to you dear Ros for not being around these past couple of days, things continue to be extremely hectic at work, don't have nearly enough blogging time as I'd like, nor do I have the time to create much, terribly sorry about this, but now that I DO have some spare time, I love coming over to your blog and I'm enjoying myself immensely. Love your posts, you have been so active and very very creative, too! Gosh, I really like what you've been creating these days, you always come up with such splendid card ideas!! Hugs, Ira xox

I'm always lagging behind these days... Everybody seems to be using sequins these days - and to such gorgeous effect! Great card.

Ros I am in awe. How do you made this with acetate? I tried a shaker card but it ended up in my bin. I really love this. Love the idea of a jar and the peek through at the sentiment. Wow!

Cool! LOL Yes, I imagine it was a bit hard to photograph with all those wonderful shiny things. Great design and a nice twist on the shaker technique. Hugs!

Ros, this is beautiful, not sure how I missed it! I love how you put the sentiment on the inside, but you can still see if from the front, clever! Shiny and glittery, impossible to capture on camera, this must be even more stunning in real life! hugs :)
