City Crafter 234

Good morning everyone ...
It's my turn to host over at City Crafter Challenge and the theme this week is

"A Piece Of Sky"

(Which also happens to be one of my favourite Streisand songs ...)

This week we want you to create a card or project that includes 1 or more of the following
Moon, Sun, Rain, Clouds, Snow

Typically British I went with rain...

I cut the image on my Cameo (twice) - once in grey CS and once in dottie paper so that I could cut out the umbrella and pop it up with foam dots to give some dimension ... same with her wellingtons which were given a coat of Glossy Accents

I'm sponsoring a prize for the winner this week ... A pretty paper pack

If you like mystical backgrounds you'll love these papers

Our team have more inspiration for you up on the City Crafter Blog so hop over and take a look

Enjoy your day and thanks so much for looking in

~ Ros ~

What an adorable card - LOVE IT!!! I love every detail: the umbrella, the rain drops ... and the sentiment is on the pink part of the background paper, so it supports the encouraging words.
Very well done!
Have a nice day, Ros - here in Austria it will be the last one with warm temperatures...

Aww so sweet!! Beautiful beautiful with the girl and umbrella. Love how they pop out of the card. And love your colour choice as well. Lol, so funny you went typically British with the rain. Sending you hugs and happy sunshine wishes from rainy Holland

What a gem you created, Ros!
I wish you brighter days too and as long as it will be raining, it's better to have raindrops keeping falling on your head than teardrops falling from it.
Blessings,

Jeanneke.

Oh wow - this is totally adorable. The image reminds me of a Fuzzy Felt set that I had as a child which had gorgeous silhouettes. The colours of the brick are so gentle and the branch is just perfect. You have somehow managed to make a rainy day pretty.

Beautiful card - I particularly like how the branch reaches across the card... I guess we have a British Day today... lots of rain here so the card is a perfect match in that sense!

Ros this is breathtaking. I love love love that little girl; that pop of color in her umbrella and boots are so lovely. And speaking of rain; the storm is coming our way and it''s windy and wet here too. I heard that the storm hit the UK hard. Are you ok?
And your background; your brick wall adds interest and is fabulous!
Sending love and hugs,
