Our Beautiful World

Hello ...
I hope you are enjoying your weekend

Today at Our Beautiful World we have a new prompt ... chosen for us by Manuela
The prompt is Typical November

Well typically here in the UK like the rest of you I suspect, the Christmas season is upon us ... Every shop is heaving with shoppers and decorations are everywhere

... even in the trees and as it get dark here by 5pm it's a pretty sight for the shoppers

Whilst at home the garden is full of colour believe it or not ... I don't mean with flowers, but the with last glow of Autumn leaves against the evergreen Laurel and the pyracantha laden with bright orange berries

... together with the holly displaying her not so abundant berries of red

It's not as cold as most Novembers have been and certainly not as frosty
If I were to describe a Typical November in one photo this would be it for me

What's your Typical November like? We'd love to see
Share it with us at

Have a lovely day

Hi Ros, yes Christmas happening here in Australia too, not as gorgeous as yours in UK but they do make an effort. I particularly love the pyracantha, what gorgeous orange berries. But unlike you we have longer daylight hours.. mornings start to lighten at 4:30 and evenings the darkness is full about 7pm (we're not on daylight saving in Queensland). We've put our decos up this weekend a bit early but then we will be off to spend Christmas with the kids and I do so love the all fuss and bustle of this time of year so up went out tree also lights outside. Cheers and hugs Robyn

All those beautiful berries. I do love the many hues of autumn even if I don't love the cold weather. Make me want to sit in and just look at the beautiful view of trees ( well, the few that are around us at least!). Enjoyed looking at your photos, thanks xx

Thank you for inspiring me to participate! Normally I don´t like November - but this year it´s different for some reason... don´t know why.
Have a nice evening and thanks a lot for your lovely comment!
Ulina
PS: I like your picture of those vibrant red berries!

Oh those pretty shots... Don't you just love to see the changes in the garden? Berries, instead of flowers, red robins instead of little wrens. It's these changes that make every season so special! Hugs Ira x

Well, your November is much prettier in the UK then ours is here in Michigan, however you might have me looking at it differently, in pieces and not the hole picture, kind of like "thinking outside of the box"..lol!! Very pretty!!!!
