Birthday Balloons

Hello ...
I hope your weekend is off to a good start
We've got sunshine today and though it's cold - it's not as cold as it has been so that's a good start

Last Thursday I shared an anniversary card I made for a friend who also celebrates her birthday on the same day ...
Here's the Birthday card I made for her

I have to say it took me a while to come up with something ...

I delved into my box of left overs for inspiration and finally it came together ... What did I do before sequins hit the scene?
They just add a little something don't they

I'm still fighting this allergy and right now it doesn't look like I'm going to win anytime soon ... night time is the worst ... I wake up so hot and itching like mad ... What I wouldn't give for a good nights' sleep

Have a lovely weekend ... I'll be back tomorrow

How pretty with the blingy balloon string. I always say, if I can get a good nights sleep I can handle anything....Wishing you one!

What a gorgeous card Ros, I bet she just loved it!! I had to giggle about your sequins bit. I feel the same way about texture paste and a year from now I will feel the same way about some other product I've become addicted to! Crafters are funny people aren't we!! ha! big hugs :)

At first I love your new blog header!
Your card is beautiful; I love the balloons. Pretty in pink and paired up with grey adds a lovely and elegant touch. Not too sweet; just perfect! I know what you mean about sequins:).
I hope that you will feel better soon; and that your docotor can help you getting rid off that allergy. It sounds awful and it must be exhausting getting not enough rest and sleep. Sending a hug!
