City Crafter 252

Good morning!

Today our newest DT member Samra has chosen the challenge for us at City Crafter
This week the theme is The Key to Time

Samra wants us to create a card or project that features either a clock or keys (or both if you like)

I did struggle with this which is kinda weird as in the past I've made many projects featuring clocks and keys but I guess they were more a shabby style and I wanted to try and do a cleaner style this time
Anyway, I pulled out my rose stamp again for this

I used the clock stamp and die designed by Mona Pendleton for MFT and I coloured my rose with Gelatos

I sealed a few sequins behind some stitched vellum ... It's the first time I've used my new machine for a card and my stitches are a bit wonky ...

Our Guest Designer for the whole month of March is the lovely Darnell Knauss who I'm sure most of you know and love
This week's winner will also have a GD spot with us so pull out those clock stamps or the keys you've been hiding and come and join us this week.

The team have some more inspiration for you up on the City Crafter Blog ... hop over and take a look

Enjoy your day and thanks for stopping by

~ Ros ~

Beautiful yellow Rose...love the sequins stitched behind the clock, very creative!! I need to find that stamp, it is so pretty!! All my stitched cards are stitched wonky, I find it very hard to stitch straight on paper, but I kind of like it that way, and your stitching looks fabulous!!

Another soft and gorgeous card, Ros! I am always in awe of how you manage to make card art that tells a story with layers and dimension, but still stays CAS!! Hugs, Darnell

Beautifully done, Ros. The mint color with yellow is gorgeous. Gelatos? Lucky you. The Penmaker and I just came from birthday shopping. He told me to pick out what I wanted and they were one of the first things I looked at. I thought they were too expensive if we bought all the colors. Guess I could have gotten one or two packs. What do you think of them? Worth the money?
