Smooshing Galaxy

Hello...

I've spent a lovely afternoon with an amazing friend who celebrated her birthday today...
She happens to be a fine artist herself and I know she loves to see paint take on it's own shape so I decided to create a birthday card with a sort of Galaxy feel in her favourite colours

To create the effect I "smooshed" with  Distress stains, Distress Paints and a Versamark ink pad - dried it and then flicked gold, white and pewter paints over

It was only fitting that I added a big star and who better to hold on to it than a little elephant. I coloured him and covered him in glossy accents but it's a little hard to see that.

I hope your day is a good as mine has been ...
Till next time

~ Ros ~

What a cute and creative card...I always love your "splattering", it is always so perfect....cute, cute idea to have the little guy holding the star...I imagine she loved it, I would of!! Glad you had a good day, I am still hibernating in my creative room waiting for Spring to arrive, somehow it seems to have missed the date....I am sure in July I will be complaining about the "heat"..part of live I guess...lol!!
