Nesting

Hello

I don't have anything crafty to share today but I would like to say a big "Thank You" to the voters at Muse Card Club where my card was featured in the Top Three!

We've had glorious sunshine these past few days ... Spring has arrived
Recently we had a new insulated roof put onto the conservatory ... It was always far too hot to use in the summer and far to cold in the winter ... Now it's pleasant and I've been spending a lot of time in there because there are windows on 3 sides and it's perfect for watching the birds and squirrels.

Just to one side is an old ivy growing over a divider fence...

It's here that robins have decided to nest and I've been able to watch them coming and going with food for their brood

I don't have a fancy zoom lens camera ... Just a Nikon CoolPix digital and my photos were taken from inside, behind glass, so I'm thrilled that they came out.

But it seems the robins are not the only ones nesting here right now

And this little one was only to happy to pose for photos

As a nature lover I am really enjoying this time of year and just being able to take the time to watch

Tomorrow my blog friend Stella and her husband Marcel will be arriving from The Netherlands and it will be so exciting to finally meet

It's going to be a good week ... I hope your will be too

Till soon

~ Ros ~

Oh, such wonderful pictures! I'm sure I could spend hours in that conservatory as well. Glad to hear that spring has found you, too - here we're expecting up to 23°C on Friday... can't wait!

Hi Ros, wonderful photos from all the sweet birds. The weather is like ours, I enjoyed also some time in the garden (a lot to do now :-))
(The candele and the card was for my godson, his baptism was on monday).
Enjoy your time with your friend this week! Manuela

Oh my goodness! These photos are amazing. I think it's the photographers skills not the camera that captured these great shots. Those little guys sure were busy and good hunters. :-) What a joy to be able to watch them so closely. Enjoy your visit! Hugs!
