Blue Bouquet

Hello ...

Firstly, I am thrilled to say that  2 of my previous cards received Honourable Mentions this week ... One at The Male Room Challenge and one at Colour Me
Thanks so much to both Teams for the honour!

Well, summer has disappeared once again and I'm feeling a little blue, so I made a card
for The Mixed Media Challenge where the theme is Blue an the optional element is a Vase

I recently bought the Wplus9 Doodle Buds stamps which I used to make my bouquet

... Stamping them onto paper and just fussy cutting them
My blooms are arranged in a stamped and painted jar which I masked off before stencilling the brick background

A little vellum die cuts, a few sequins, burlap ribbon and more paint splatters complete the card

I hope you're having a good day and the sun is shining for you
Thanks for looking in on me ...

Till soon

I'm catching up with my blog visits and working backwards through your posts! Love these blooms stamped onto patterned papers and they look fabulous in blue here especially against that great textured wall background. Congratulations on your accolades - well deserved.

Pretty flowers beautifully arranged....love the background too and coarse the splatters. Congrats on your wins as well! It has been very sunny here and hot, finely after all the overcast we had for days due to the forest fires in Canada, they said the smoke overcast the skies as far as Tennessee.
