City Crafter 280

Hi there!

My sweet friend Stella is hosting for us this week at

The theme is "Fall Has Arrived"
Create a card or project and pick an element of the photo inspiration.

 Stella -
"Fall has just started and yes leaves are falling. But it's also harvest time so that's also a great idea to start with. Or create a view with hills/borders. Just have fun!"

Here's my card

I cut a little hillside, sponged it and added the sweet little wooden houses and then cut and water coloured the leaves in Autumn shades

Ok... So the ladybird was just an added extra ... not really Autumnal... But it's red like the fruit in the photo.. Yes that's how my old brain works Lol!
And the piece of painted cardboard just happened to be in my scraps waiting to be used on something so why not?

This week we have the lovely Andie Miller Guesting for us - Here's a link to her Blog - do pop by and say hello! And hop on over to CCCB to check out the creations from all the team

We're looking forward to seeing your projects this week ... You always blow us away with your talent!

I'm still away so I'll catch up with you all when I get home
Till then have a beautiful week ...

What a beautifully crafted scene, Ros. There's so much that captures the eye - the pretty leaves, the sentiment, the teeny ladybug! Lovely. I feel so honored to join the challenge today. Thank you so much for inviting me to join you City Crafters today!

Hope you had a lovely time away? Loving the take on the theme with this card. I think it's a clever use of the ladybird and your colours are gorgeous. The leaves with the pop of gold/mica are beautiful and the corrugated card pulls the whole card together. The sentiment is just perfect!

I love the crisp green and little wooden houses on your card, absolutely lovely!
Thanks for your kind words and moral support, it was hard for me to bring it up as I tried my very best not even to think, but it does help that I take a little baby step rather than buried it deeper and deeper in my heart. Thanks for hearing me out my friend!
