White

Good morning...

It's my turn to pick a prompt for Our Beautiful World and this week the word is
White

This beautiful swan is no ordinary swan ... This is a Norwegian swan haha! I took this photo whilst visiting Stavanger some years ago with my dear Aunt

Here she is ... 88 years old standing by lots of the 'white' stuff!

.. They sure get plenty of it in Norway but this photo reminds me just how it used to be here when I was a child ... Before they had all the super duper waterproof, windproof and cosy clothes they have now. We didn't even have central heating yet we would play out in the cold snow all day... Somehow we all survived...And they were fun times

By contrast the hotel we stayed at last summer by the beach was a boutique hotel and nearly everything was white

I loved these outdoor light up pots

And in Lisbon I took this photo of white statues through the bus window

Finally in keeping with the season ... here are some white Christmas critters I saw at one of our Christmas markets

We're looking forward to seeing your photos of white this week
Hop on over to Our Beautiful World to see what my friends are sharing...

Thanks so much for your visit ... have a lovely day

Oh boy, I love white!! Must be a nightmare trying to keep that hotel clean, holy geez!! That table of white Christmas critter has stolen the show for me, this is the exact theme that we are going to redo our Christmas decor with! All white with lots of critters and natural fibres and woods! LOVE your photos! hugs :)

I love your white prompt Ros! The swan is beautiful and love the pic of your Auntie! Isn't it amazing all we survived as children all intact and happy as could be lol We had the opposite, heat. We played outside when it was 115, didnt have air conditioning and thought it was great. Now kids wont go out unless it perfect weather!

This is a brilliant take on the theme. I love that photo of your aunt. I would never ever have thought she's in her 80's. Incredible!
