City Crafter 296

Hello there ...

Today at City Crafter we have the lovely Stella hosting our challenge and she's picked a wonderful theme ...

For The Love of Pets

Stella is asking that we create a card or project that features a pet... cat, dog, bird etc.,
Seeing that sweet puppy's face I had to use a pup on my card ... I may have cats but I adore dogs!

This is one scruffy puppy... I used a white gel pen to create that look - doesn't he look kinda cute?
I made this for me ... On a day I was feeling a little low - Nothing wrong in sending yourself a hug, especially with a cute puppy

Now see that weird background? Well it was a left over from card I had previously painted and cut out 2 skyline's from and I just like the shape that remained Lol!

Our Guest Designer this week is Dana one half of The Crafty Couple - click the link to go visit the blog.

As always our team have lots more inspiration for you up on the City Crafter Blog hop on over and take a peek.

Wishing you a wonderful day

You won't believe it, but Darnell used a piece from cutting too skylines, too! Great minds think alike! Super sweet puppy--I can't resist any of them, and totally love how you made this little guy scruffy! Hugs to you, my friend!

Awesome card Ros! The dog is just the cutest, great job adding a bit of scruffy. I absolutely love the background, perfect ground for the dog and the bold sentiment.

Thank you for letting me know, Ros! This gives me goose pimples to think we were both crafting away at the same time, our minds coming up with the same idea, and then posting our designs on the same day! I've said before we are sisters from different misters!! Your adorable dog is a hug personified and that background strip is just amazing behind him!! Now close your eyes and imagine what I'm working on next and I'll do the same!! Hugs, Darnell

Hi Ros, I'm visiting via a link on Darnell's blog. Your card is beautiful. It's interesting to see that waste used horizontally then vertically by you. What a super background for that dear little dog. I love the way you have gelli penned his fur. A very clever idea. Barbxx

Very clever makes for a very interesting ( in a good way lol ) background we should never throw anything out well maybe just a little so we can get to our desks. Your little pup really works so well with the background he is adorable.
