Ink Blending Card

Hello there!
It's very wet here today... Even so, the trees from my window are gorgeous! I just love the fresh green leaves of Spring

Next week my brother celebrates his birthday and today I'm sharing the card I've made for him

I love these colours together ... For the top half of the card I blended distress inks, Mermaid Lagoon and Evergreen Bough and for the lower part I used Memento's Canteloupe. These colours are perfect for beach scenes too and you'll probably see me doing more cards with these colours to have on hand

The words and the airplane were all done on my Cameo
I cut the clouds from a Memory Box die first in white cardstock and then in white vellum and put one on top of the other...

Pretty quick and simple... I hope he likes it

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend ... Till soon

Gorgeous background and the white elements look fabulous against it. Raining here too!

You're right, those colors are beautiful, and remind me of a sunset sky from the view of an airplane window - love it!

Beautifully designed, Ros! You have the best ideas for guy cards--not just the usual plants! Love the double clouds & I'll have to try the color combos as I have all of those colors!

Love your card with the clouds and airplane, Ros! I'm sure Ron will love this birthday card! Your blending of the colors are perfect! It's one thing I need to practice! The cantalope color is very pretty! I just might have to purchase that one! Thanks so much for the inspiration!:-)

The background is amazing - it actually looks like a beautiful sunset (or sunrise, I suppose). Fantastic card!
