Double D Challenge

Hello there ...

The new challenge at Double D Challenges starts today and it's Diane's team who are hosting with this lovely tile board

The theme is June Wedding, though your card does not have to be a wedding card but we are asking that you use the colours - Blues and Coral/Peach

I made 2 cards...

The first card I did I used Abandoned Coral distress ink but somehow it translates on my photos as pink

I used an image I cut on my cameo as a stencil and added the die cut birdhouse together with a coral flower but because it didn't look coral coloured I decided to make another card using peach colours this time

I made a little envelope and stamped flowers from this set

as well as a few roses from another Clearly Besotted set and after colouring them with Copics I cut them up so I could form a little bouquet

They're quite easy to fussy cut and you get more out of your stamps this way

Head on over to the Double D Blog to see what the rest of our team are sharing - I hope you'll be inspired to play along

Enjoy your day and thanks so much for your visit

These are both breathtaking, Ros! I am especially in love with your envelope bouquet! We get so conditioned to using our dies now that we forget we can fussy-cut! You have inspired me!! Hugs, Darnell

Both of these cards are so pretty! Funny how that ink looks pink, but the little flower looks coral. That's such a cute stencil you created. Then, of course, you made a gorgeous card #2 with the fabulous flowers and darling envelope. Love the inside of the envelope, as well, and all the vellum. Vellum gives everything such a dreamy and soft quality. Nice job with these colors, Ros!
