Seascape... Well sort of..

Good morning ...

It's a bright and beautiful one here and Ginger cat is already out sunbathing, man that cat loves the sun!

I have another watercolour card to share ... You knew I couldn't resist once those paints were out right? Sometimes a girls' just got to paint. Anyway I thought I'd try a little seascape ...Or two

This one is my first attempt ... I'll share the other one later in the week

I used really inexpensive watercolour CS and when it gets too wet it starts pilling which creates those flecks on the sand... A happy accident

I have a 'thing' about beach/nautical themes which I'm sure you've noticed ... I just love them

I'll be back tomorrow for the new prompt at Our Beautiful World

Have a great weekend

Till soon

Well, some of us girls CAN'T paint--haha--but I'm sure glad you do, Ros! This is beautiful & the sand looks amazing! Fritz agrees with Ginger--he's already had 3 sunbaths this morning!

Wow! You don't even need stamps! This is fantastic! I've had cheap watercolor paper before and it pilled like that. The paper sure makes a difference, and in this case it made a beautiful, fabulous difference!

Someday, I am going to live by the sea again, someday!

This is absolutely stunning, Ros! I love the piled sand effect, and the sea foam paint splatters. It needs to be framed!!

Another one that should be framed...what a gorgeous beach scene..I would love to be sitting there right now. I ordered some expensive water color paper pad (or I thought so), but when it came it one HUGE canvas, not what I expected at all, so I cut it all up, we will see how good it really is..lol!!
