Watercolour Thank You

Hello... Happy Monday
I hope you're having a good start to the week

Last Friday Pat and I were invited to dinner by a lovely lady who comes with her daughter to our craft class at Thursday Club... Winnie and her daughter Gemma originate from Hong Kong and we enjoyed a wonderful home cooked meal of ribs, ham fried rice and roast vegetables finished off with ice cream, sorbet and fresh fruit.
The only other person that cooks for me is my lovely Aunt so I really enjoyed being spoiled

I have a Thank You card to share which will be on it's way to Winnie and Gemma

I wet some watercolour cardstock and let the red and black colours flow... Then once I had dried it, I splattered various other colours on and then dragged some white paint and some gold pen ink around

I love the vibrancy of these colors though I wasn't quite sure what I would end up doing with it, but as you can see I cut up some of the painted CS and also die cut the Thanks and then added part of a PTI die cut (from the Waves cover plate) over the top just to give it a little something extra

Whilst we were at Gemma's she took us to see her bedroom and every project she had made over the years at Thursday club was on display ... How sweet!

I hope you enjoy your week and I'll be back tomorrow for the new challenge at City Crafter

Take care

You just keep rolling out these 'pieces of art' and very creative pieces...dang it I wish we lived close so we do these fun pieces together...oh well at least I can still see them on here! That is really nice and quite a compliment that she has all her creations on display, I imagined it made you feel really good to see that!
