Hobby

Good morning...

It's time for a new word prompt at Our Beautiful World and this week the prompt is
Hobby

You all know I like to make cards, home decor etc., and lately I've been trying my hand at watercolour. I'm not a natural but I really like to try, along with practising colouring with Copics

Things change with time ... When I was working and my son was young, there wasn't a great deal of time for hobbies, though I loved to walk everyday with my dogs

...And every Sunday I would take my young son swimming... The little swimming baths we went to is no longer open and now I only swim on holiday...

Being retired I can indulge myself and craft, be it card making, painting, sewing or baking or sometimes curl up with a book in our conservatory

where I can also watch the birds

Of course being on the team for Our Beautiful World means that photography has also become a hobby, something that runs in the family ... My Father was an amazing photographer and my older brother has the same passion

Talking of hobbies, my husband leaves for Portugal on Monday to pursue his hobby of golfing

So that means 5 days of doing anything I want ... Lol!

Share your hobby photos with us at Our Beautiful World this week and hop on over to the blog to see what my friends are sharing...

Have a great day

~ Ros ~

A very great and nice overview shows your post about your hobbies.
Versatile and interesting, since it can not be boring ;-)
I also posted my biggest hobby. Maybe you'll come and see me.
Warm greetings from Germany

Ooh, I didn't know you did watercours. How lovely!
It's not something I am good at, but I love it when it's done properly.
Xxx

It's always lovely to be here and see your take on the prompt. I am thankful that you are crafter. That's how we met. You have a few days of "me-time" ahead :) Enjoy!

We share many of the same hobbies and a similar taste in books. I've read some of those. Jodi Picoult is a definite favorite. Really love that CUTE card, BTW. And you know how I feel about my dogs. Beautiful place to take a walk there!

I have to say we pretty much have the same hobbies, which of course you already knew lol. Wonderful photos once again Ros!! My hubby is leaving this week too and I am taking the train into Chicago on Saturday with a bunch of girls (we have 3 cars all to ourselves, the middle car being a bar..good grief..lol), then I have a walk/run event on Sunday as a fundraiser for my grandson, though I am going, I am not participating, too old to run and the walk is too far for my bad leg/foot I have...but it will be nice to have some free time here as well!! Enjoy yourself!

Great pictures! I love that bird with the worm in his beak that you were able to capture through your camera lens. Blessings and enjoy your girlie time while your husband is away golfing.
