Hellooooo!

Yay! I'm finally back online!

After 12 long days that seemed like an eternity, the connection came on late this afternoon.
Not being able to visit friends and family over the Christmas period, do any online ordering etc., has been very upsetting, not to mention the days spent on the phone trying to get someone somewhere to get their finger out and fix things.
You'd think not being online would have given me time to create, but in truth I lost all interest and inspiration...
Before I went offline I did enter a card in a challenge, not expecting I would win anything, so imagine my delight to see my card was one of the cards picked for an actual prize!! I was so happy, that was until I saw I had to claim it within 5 days... Well, that was that.

All in all it's been an experience that I could have done without... My son was ill all over Christmas too and for the first time since he was born, we didn't have Christmas dinner together.

Roll on 2017!
Now I am back I will be visiting you all first thing tomorrow.

Thanks to all of you who sent me messages to let me know you were thinking of me, it really meant a lot.

Have a great day/evening

~ Ros ~

Oh I'm so glad you're back, Ros! Can only imagine how frustrating it must have been, especially over the holidays. So sorry your son was sick & hope he's much better now. In the spirit of the holidays, I'll bet they'd still give you the prize--congrats on the win! Here's to much joy in 2017, my friend!

Glad you are back here, even for a little bit!
Sorry to hear that the internet problem caused you a lot of inconvenience, and sorry to hear that Mike is not well during Christmas, hope he gets better soon!

My dear Ros! This doesn't sound like a magical, peaceful Christmas, does it :(. I'm sorry to hear about all the troubles and I completely understand how frustrating and upsetting it must have all been. Especially not being able to see your 'baby' for Christmas! But hopefully the New Year will bring happiness and calmness into our lives and lots of creativity, too. I hope to be a much better blogging friend, too, as I haven't been blogging and hopping much this year at all. I missed it so much! Thank you for all your friendship and kind comments this year and here's to a happy New Year! xx

YAY...welcome back!! I have to say it has been pretty quiet around blogland though, so you didn't miss a whole lot...lol! But I know how it is to be without internet...terrible..lol! We have missed you, so I am so HAPPY you are up and running and now can post your lovely creations. Not much new here, well unless you want to count my credit card being compromised, that was 'exciting' to say the least!

Hello, Ros, and Happy New Year to you, too! I missed you! I'm sorry your last year ended on such a poopy note! I hope your lad is well now and you don't get ill. And I'm sorry you missed the prize for the challenge you won, but you still have the feather in your cap for having been recognized!! As you say, Roll on 2017! I hope you have no more computer tissues! Hugs, Darnell

Twelve days is a long time to go without! A day or two might be nice, but 12 is too much. Sorry about the prize and about your son being ill. Sheesh, what a holiday! I hope your son feels better, and I hope you feel like stamping now. I don't know what I'd do without my craft.
