Quick cards

Good morning...
I hope the week is going well for you

Yesterday I shared a card for my DT project at Double D Challenges using a Hero Arts stamp and Hero Arts Ombre ink... I usually make my cards well in advance and I hadn't used that stamp since making that card so I decided to pull it out again and make a bunch of Christmas cards which came together really quickly

Using the Misti I was able to stamp the sentiments one after the other and I'd already die cut a lot of those stags

The image stamp is a wooden stamp so I couldn't use the Misti for that but it's a great stamp to work with. My only problem was the Lil'Inkers border die ... I love those dies but somehow I managed to break the one I was using... I probably caught in in the Big Shot but it's ok , it only broke about an inch off it.

I'd made a bunch of cards before Pat arrived and then of course she also made a bunch of them Lol!

My home is now ready for Christmas ... I know, I even surprised myself having it done so early in the month. Unlike most of you, I hate decorating the tree... I have a couple of small artificial trees that are no problem - they have built in lights and snowy branches and need nothing else but Hubby decided to get a real tree as well. So I stood and put on all the baubles and bows, tinsel and lights and I hated it! It just didn't look right ... I get worse as I get older I know, but it is such a pretty tree and in my opinion didn't need all the glamour, so I took everything off, bar the lights and now it looks beautiful... Just as God intended it to look and hubby loves it too.

Have a wonderful day
I'm off to catch up with an old friend who celebrates her birthday today

Till soon

Look at you go! And these are all such beautiful cards. Not one bit of style compromised for the CAS-ness of them. Love the curved edge that looks like a snowy hillside. Again, such a beautiful blue, and the stamp is exquisite. The stag is a regal fellow and so handsome with his string scarf. Gee, I've never broken a die before, but I'm wondering if a couple of mine are wearing down. Today is my day to clean and decorate. Christmas card making will just have to be put on hold till it's done. I love the idea of a clean and simple tree, too. I've gone the route of the small table top artificial with built in lights. I put a few tiny balls on it and it looks very pretty in its corner. We have no grand kids, just us grown ups. We'll host some get togethers and the house will look plenty festive when all is said and done. Hope you're feeling better!

Oh these are just gorgeous! I love the colors and love the 'scarf' twine tied on the neck of the deer...just a perfect touch!! Hope you are feeling better and had a wonderful day with your friend!! I almost have my tree all decorated and it is loaded..lol..lots of red/white lights too and it is a real tree but the smallest one yet...I am having the hardest time getting into the Christmas 'mood", it is snowing quite heavily, maybe that will do the trick...lol!!

Fabulous card design and perfect tor mass production. It is CAS but so elegant. Congrats on being done. I have a few more cards to make but I will be hand carrying them during the holidays with some little surprises so I have some time.
