Valentine Balloons

Hello there ...

I've got a couple of quick Valentine cards to share that I made last week...

I just die cut some hearts to use as a stencil and masked off the large one before adding the smaller ones

And the second one...

I'm entering these at Just Us Girls

On Valentine's day my DH bought me a gorgeous card and my favourite Chanel perfume too. Then there was a knock on the door and a delivery man stood there with a box of flowers ... Turned out  they were for my next door neighbour... He felt really bad asking me to take them in, and it made my DH feel bad too and he went off and came back with a dozen red roses for me lol!

It's been a really busy week .... The revamp work is still going on here at home and what with doctor appointments and the normal daily stuff to attend to, I had to prepare my project for tonight's Thursday club ...

Here's a peek at what I have prepared for them to do tonight... A pop up card

My cat Missy has a terrible habit of ripping things up... She's destroyed boxes, papers and even had a go at some discount vouchers on my desk.. I just managed to rescue this in time...

Before I go I'd like to thank the team at Happy Little Stampers for picking my card as a favourite in last month's challenge, I'm delighted!

Ok... Off to make hubby some lunch now ...

Have a great day

Your heart balloons are fantastic! The way they show through each other looks so realistic. What a fun pop-up jungle - they will have a great time making that! Too funny about your husband and the flowers!

Those balloons are so very colorful and fun! What perfect Valentine cards. I marvel at your creativity. And those cute giraffes in their jungle scene will give your group a reason to laugh, that's for sure. They'll love it! It sounds like you had a nice Valentine's day with your thoughtful husband. So sweet about the flowers. Gee, I hope Missy doesn't destroy anything really important or irreplaceable. My LuLu like to tear up papers, but only things that are left on the floor. Napkins are her favorite.

Love, love your pretty card with all the colors that just have to make you happy and OMGoodness the pop up card is so cute, I just laughed when I saw that happy face on the giraffe, I imagine the group was delighted with it...you are such a good and caring person! I love the story about the flowers (that would be my luck, too...lol) but how nice of Ian to turn it around the way he did...glad you had a nice Valentines Day. ON another note, thank you for your nice comment on my Nellie post and yes I hope our dogs are friends in doggie heaven and we can all reunite at a later date (much later..lol)!!
