Bright and cheerful

Good morning!

It's been such a busy week and so much more to do...
Thank you for your kind wishes - My hospital appointment went well and the doctor was very thorough ordering a lot of blood tests... Seems a lot of those well meaning medications we are given over the years often come back to bite us, and of course getting older brings it's own party - Yep it's such fun Lol!

Mother's day is approaching here in the UK and I've been preparing projects for my group... I still  have tons to cut and I'm hoping to finish today whilst hubby is at the match. Then I have to strip the bedroom ... Hubby has asked the decorator in again - He hates to think of me idle (I wish)

So I have another birdbrain card to share ... When I print digitals I often print more than one at a time, well you can't have too many birthday cards

This time I cut a stencil with balloon dies to use for the BG

I used distress inks to stencil with and Copic Ciao's to colour the image

No eyelashes this time but still bright and cheerful don't you think?

The blossom has appeared on the trees now and there are so many daffodils around... We have them all over the central reservations - Hundreds of them! It's been windy and wet and as they bob and sway it looks like they are all chattering to each other... Or is that just me? See, I told you I was getting old!

Have a wonderful day and a wonderful weekend

Till soon

Can't help myself, I love it when you do these bright and cheerful cards! The balloons floating in the background are a fabulous touch. Really makes it look like a party. I hope you continue to feel well and don't get all messed up on meds again. Your hubby has asked the decorator in? I don't like it when mine gets the notion to buy a new rug or something. I try nicely to tell him to let the lady of the house do the decorating.

Yes I hear/see daffodils chatting to each other too...you are not alone x Such an adorable card and do so love those birdbrain chicks. The stencil and the balloons in the background work great as does the pop of glitter from the silver balloon x Thank you for sharing this cute card. Glad your appointment went well x

Even without eyelashes this is a cutie! I am behind with blogging and just read that you had more blood tests; I hope the results will give you answers and - if needed - proper medication.
Have a lovely Sunday,

This is indeed so cheerful and bright, Ros! I love your balloon-toting yellow birthday birdie even without the eyelashes! I am so sorry you aren't feeling well and that you are suffering with back pain, too. Thank you for your good wishes for the Mister! He is better but it is sloooooow going and men don't tend to be the patient patients. Sending love and positive thoughts that you will be feeling lots better soon!! Hugs, Darnell

Hee hee I love those birdbrain images. Your stenciled balloons look awesome in the background and I really like the combination of their softness and the bright image.
