To brighten your day

Good morning friends...

I have a little card to share that I made for a lady I used to work with many years ago. She's a lot younger than me and she moved away from Liverpool, married and had a little girl... I recently discovered that having battled cancer for many years it has returned... I'm hoping that my card will brighten her day

I used the digital Polka Dot Bella and altered her slightly, giving her a little smile and some eyelashes.

I drew and coloured a little plant pot and added some stamped and coloured flowers

It's all I can do other than pray she will pull through this

I hope you have a wonderful weekend ...

Till soon

Oh how sad--cancer just seems to be everywhere. If only some of the millions of wasted dollars in this world could be spent on finding cures. I know her spirits will be lifted with this totally adorable card, Ros! I admire how you use & alter digis to perfection & the use of frames on your cards is a wonderful element which I need to remember! Have a wonderful weekend, my friend--back to gloomy, rainy weather here.

Your card is just right, Ros! It's colorful and cheerful and I'm sure your friend will cherish it. I'm so sorry about her cancer returning. She beat it once, so we can only hope and pray she beats it again! You asked about the time change and, yes, we do that here. It always takes me about a week to adjust! Hugs, Darnell

Your card is wonderfully bright and cheerful and utterly adorable! Just the perfect day brightener. The smile and eyelashes give Bella a whole other look, and the pot of flowers make it even more cheerful. It's distressing that your friend is going through this again. And with a little girl. I hope she can keep her spirits up and fight it off once again.
