Club Projects

Hello there ...

I haven't posted this week other than my DT for City Crafter but I've been far from idle... I'm just busy preparing for the club projects...
I know some of you like to see what we do so I thought I'd share some things with you ...
For Mother's day we made a pop up card

This is the outside

And inside

Lots of bits for them to stick together but lots of bits for me to cut!
Of course I included a gift for them to give to their mother, guardian or carer -  A cup with a chocolate inside

Complete with a flower and a little spoon

This week I'm working on Spring/Easter projects as we will have a 2 week Easter break after this week which will give Pat and I a little breathing space...
So far I have completed all the design and cutting for this

It's a free standing project with pop ups and a little chick

I design the BG on my computer using all my digital papers and files, then I came up with a little box for the birdhouse which are all hand cut... The umbrellas, the wellington boots etc., are done on my cameo.
It takes me days and I've still to come up with a couple of cards for them.
I had a letter from the hospital to let me know I am deficient on vitamin D... I just have to take some tablets... Then again it's not surprising as I spend so much time indoors creating!

I definitely have to get out more Lol!

Have a beautiful Sunday and I'll be back on Tuesday

Ros I love these posts. You are so generous with your time and your creativity is amazing. The little coffee/tea cup is so cute with the spoon and flower. Loving all the fun elements of all the projects and no wonder you need vitamin D tablets as you must have been inside ages doing these x Well done Ros x You are one talented lady...Thank you for sharing these fabulous and amazing projects x

I really do admire your work with the special group, Ros--can't imagine what this means to them! Your projects completely blow my mind--so well thought out, beautiful & fun! As I've said before, wish I could be there! Everyone in Oregon is Vit D deficient even if we are outside--haha! I just am not very faithful taking my vitamins. Vit D needs to be taken with a meal containing fat--hope they told you that. Sending hugs, Greta

I love seeing your group projects! You put so much into them and I know they're always such a treat for the group. They must look forward to it so much. Your pop up card is a real WOW, and the tea cup with the chocolate made such a nice little gift that was a pleasure for each of them to give proudly. They're going to be thrilled with the Easter project! Love that little chick popping out. Too cute! By the way, most everyone here is deficient in Vitamin D, too. As much time as I spend outside, even I was slightly deficient. You store it up with exposure to the sun over the course of the summer, but they say to protect yourself from the sun. So now I take an over the counter supplement and all is well.

I'm sitting here shaking my head in disbelief and awe... The amount of time and creative energy you put into these projects is unbelievable - as are the projects themselves, of course! As usual, they are absolutely breathtaking. All the details, the wonderfully happy design. You are amazing, in case I have't said that earlier!

Awww...your club projects are spectacular and so thoughtful, Ros! I'm sure they were a big hit! Your Easter creation with the little chick is so fun and cute! I hope your Vit. D deficiency improves soon. I need to do better with taking my multi-vit, etc. But, I'm very faithful taking my thyroid med. Take care and have a great week!

Geesh Ros my jaw hit the floor looking at these prohects. They are stunning but I also noticed that it is a BIG job to cut and preare all this. But the results are amazing. The pop up card is magnificient and the project with the birdhouse is brilliant!
Poor you; lack on vitamin D; I have an idea how that must be. You need to get out more; let your men take good care of you. ( And take you outif you are feeling well!!)
