Painted flowers

Hello there ...

A new challenge started at Double D Challenges yesterday  hosted by Dar's team
Flowers Galore

As I'm on Diane's team I'm not obliged to create a project but I like to when I have the time. Unfortunately time was something I didn't have to spare these past few weeks... But then today I remembered a card I did a while ago which I never posted ...
I painted it free hand and I suppose I just didn't think it was that good, but what the heck! It fits the challenge and also the challenge at CAS Watercolour where my friend Mac is guest designer
So here we go

I'm not sure what they are supposed to be - Maybe cornflowers?

I sent this to my aunt and she liked it - And I feel better to know I've supported 2 of my friends

I'm off for some more Acupuncture shortly ... I must say that it has helped enormously with the sciatica so that's a good thing.

Have a great day

They do look like cornflowers about to open, and so very pretty! Wish I had your talent for freehand. Wow! Beautiful!

What a wonderful surprise and you are so kind to mention me....how exciting is that? Now your card Ros is stunning. I really can't image how you thought it was not good enough......you are one talented lady and to paint and draw the flowers free hand is amazing. Glorious colours, artsy and contemporary. This card is a real eye catcher and thank you so much for sharing it with us X so glad the acupuncturist is helping, it must be a huge relief x

So happy you've found something to relieve your pain, Ros. I know they sometimes use it for dogs with great results, but we've never had to try it. This is one beautiful painting--love how artistic it is! You're one talented lady & even more important--a wonderful friend! Enjoy the wedding!

Beautiful cornflowers, Ros. I have done very little freehand and am always in awe of those that can. Great job! Love the splatters in the background. Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Watercolour!
