Rainy days and Mondays

Hello...
Yes it's wet and cool here just for a change Lol! It's been a crazy start to the week but lets first start with a little card I made...

I always wanted to do a card with that sentiment and recently I got this little Eiffel tower die so this is what I came up with...

The BG and the dies have been done using my paints and as always my raindrops are done with Glossy Accents.

Feel free to move on or carry on reading if you want to know how my monday has gone so far...

First thing this morning I decided to put a colour on my hair because it was so bleached from the sun in Majorca... Hubby liked it but for me it was just too light and I have my BFF's wedding at the end of the week so gotta look decent.
Anyway I applied a dark blonde colour to tone it down a little and checked my watch... Then I did a few jobs around the house, went back to check my watch but it was the same time... The battery had gone and I have no idea how long the colour was on but suffice to say I am now a shade of mid brown Lol! Then whilst trying to dry it, all the lights fused and I had to get my son to fix everything.
But seeing as I've been suffering badly with sciatic for the past 3 weeks, none of this fazed me. I did visit the doctor on friday but the whole system went down as the NHS was hacked... So I didn't get anywhere...
My hubby couldn't go to his monday morning golf as he had a major problem with his car yesterday and had to get that seen too after which he took me to a health clinic where I got to see an acupuncturist ... I've never ever had this done before and it was an experience I can tell you ... But I feel so much better and I am going back again later in the week.

Yep, rainy days and mondays... I hope you are having a better start to the week

Take care and enjoy your day

Oh wow--I've had a great start to the week compared to you--haha! I did go early to get my lab drawn--no coffee since I put milk in it--only to find the orders hadn't been called in & the office wasn't yet open so back home I came. I thought about you & wondered if the hack would foul up your appt. So glad you have relief with the acupuncture & hope it continues, my friend! A beautiful card--love how you put everything together! I'll bet you look beautiful--fun to have a different shade once in awhile!

When it rains it pours, but on your card it looks lovely! Great background and I love the rain drops. Rain here today, which is the way our spring is going. Not very many sunny days yet. So you must have had sciatica while on vacation. At least you had sunshine! Crazy Monday for you. I heard on the news about the hacking. It lead you to an acupuncturist and it sounds like it's working for pain relief. Hope you like your new hair color!

My week started out ok except I haven't received my thyroid medication in the mail yet. I've emailed and telephoned yesterday. Still no med today...ack! Oh, well things could be worse...lol! Sorry to hear about your sciatica I get that at times, too. I certainly hope it improves for you! Your card is just lovely with the Parisian theme! Love the Eiffel Tower and cute umbrella! Wonderful texture with the rain drops! Take good care, hugs!!

That must be the proverbial Monday you had there! But I can tell you took it all in stride. I hope you had fun at your friend's wedding. Oh, and this being a craft blog I should also mention: your card is really breathtakingly beautiful! That sentiment is quite something (though I would probably apply it to a different city)
