Ballerina Bunny

Hello...
How was your weekend?

The heatwave has ended here and at last I'm getting some sleep at night. I'm still struggling from the trapped nerves in my back but even that is not as bad...
We had a lovely weekend, we went into the countryside on Saturday, had a pub lunch

...and then strolled around the lovely town of Nantwich. You can probably tell that the weather was not that sunny by the lack of people outside, but it's very lush all around

Yesterday I had a relaxing day doing some crocheting in the conservatory with the cats curled up next to me... I'm really enjoying learning this craft, and my Aunt loves the fact that we are both learning the same thing and can pick up the phone and chat about it.

Meet my latest attempt - Ballerina bunny

Cute huh?

I have some projects to prepare for my group but crocheting gives me a little break from papercrafting.

I hope you're having a good day...

Enjoy

Cute or what? Love the head band and how you've done the 'ballerina slippers'. So glad that you are finding time to relax and how lovely that you can share the crocheting with your beloved Aunt. The pub looks idyllic x

Beautiful countryside! Our weather here has been cooler, actually kind of perfect, not sure how much longer that will last and we need rain terribly all my gardens have dried up! Your little bunny is adorable and I love the colors! I am glad you are having fun doing what you want and love, someday I might follow in your footsteps! Have a wonderful day my friend...today I am cooking supper for my granddaughter and her hubby and drop off so I can see and hug that new baby!!

Oh she is adorable, Ros! You can do anything crafty, I see--wish I was there to join you, although making baby blankets was my speed in the old days of crocheting. Keep thinking I should pick it up again instead of always being on the laptop while watching TV with hubby. What a beautiful site for a lunch & not so sunny would suit me fine! Hoping we're not in for another unusually hot summer--none of us cope well with it! Glad your sciatica is a bit better--hope that continues! Big hugs, Greta

It's good to hear your back pain is easing up a little. I was plagued with it in the past and sitting was the worst. It's been years since a bad episode. Maybe I've learned how not to aggravate it. I don't know. Anyway... gorgeous place you visited! Any day without rain or wind or too much heat is pretty okay by me. The flowers need sun, though... I'm rambling... I can see you're having fun with your crochet projects. Your bunny is adorable! Really, too cute! Brings the fun to another level by enjoying it with your aunt. Lots of giggles!

Am I right that this is the charming railway station where you can enjoy coffee and a lovely piece of pie? It looks great! Good to read you had a relaxing weekend and your ballerina bunny is adorable. You've mastered crocheting already! We are up till our neckes in renovating our garden. It's one big mess right now but it will be ready on July 21st:)

Oops, I meant to comment about your darling bunny, here! It is so cute! Many years ago I made my twin nephews a frog and an alligator. But, not sure if I could tackle it now. My speed is just crocheting baby blankets. I have one I need to finish. And, glad to hear that your sciatica is a bit better. Hope you continue to do well with it. The photo of the pretty lunch scene looks very relaxing. Take care and have a wonderful rest of the week!
