MFT Slider Card

Hello...

Are you enjoying this heat or are you wilting like me? We're not used to having a few hot days in a row  and right now I wish I lived on a beach....

So, Miss Sophia, my great niece celebrates her 8th Birthday on Monday ... Heck, the kiddies grow up fast these days ... Being a little crafter herself I thought she would enjoy a slider card this year

Using the MFT Gulls again (love those guys) I created this card.... When you pull the tab the smug looking gull  (It's his birthday too) whizzes by attracting looks from the other gulls (don't mind me - It's the heat)

I did have fun making this and I'm loving the oxide inks the more I use them

So it's Fathers Day and I hope you are all enjoying your day and the lovely weather

Be safe

Such a lovely card - she will be tickled pink to receive it! As for the weather: we've had a break in the heat but it returned today and will increase until mid-week. Where have the "normal" summers gone?! It's either crazy hot or unseasonably cool.

OMG this is SO ADORABLE Ros! I'm sure she just LOVED it! How clever! Yes we had that heat last week ... several days of 90s and I hid in the crafting cave through most of it! Ugh ... just can't 'handle the heat' any more!! Have a great week!

That's just too cute, Ros! Kids love interactive cards, but I'd get a big kick out of this, too. Love how he glides smugly past the other gulls. Your oxide inks are looking good! We were warm yesterday, but have a marine layer this morning. Should burn off later and the forecast says a sunny week. I cook if it gets too warm!

I love your oxide inks with the water drops for your water background for your fun and beautifully colored gulls. Really, really cute and clever slider card for your sweet niece. She will LOVE her 8th birthday card. TFS Ros. Hugs..

Oh wow--so totally adorable, Ros! The perfect card for an 8 yr old--or any age! Love the look you got with the Oxide ink, too! You should enter this in the MFT Camp Create slider card challenge! We've got a heat wave, too--getting really miserable by the w/e & none of us like it--haha! Of course, before we know it there's bound to be rain, seeing as how we ARE in Oregon--haha!

I'm really enjoying seeing the different cards you've made with this set and this is another great one. The slider makes it special.
