CAS Watercolour Challenge

Hello...

It's a very dull and wet day here, I've even had to put the lights on ... What's that all about? It's July for heaven's sake!

I've been enjoying some free time with my watercolours and I've made a few cards (as well as a lot of mess haha!)

Today I'm sharing a quick card that I made for this month's challenge over at

Please excuse the photos - It's difficult to get a decent shot when it's so dull

It's quite a simple card, watercolours on white cardstock, splattered with gold paint and cut on my Cameo

The sentiment was computer generated

I trust you are enjoying your week... Thanks so much for stopping by

Till soon

~ Ros ~

Unique & beautiful, Ros! Love the colors & the gold splatters--fabulous card! Oregon is known for Liquid Sunshine, but boy have things changed! Come on over--plenty of the real thing around here these days!

Creative and unique design, Ros. Love your beautiful watercoloured maple leaf. So amazing with the die-cut butterfly and those gold background splatters. Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Watercolour!

I love the way the butterfly has lifted himself right out of that leaf, and the sentiment is so fitting with it. I really must sit and make some backgrounds. You do such beautiful things with yours. We've had many of those dull days here, but no rain. Told my hubby the other day that I wished it would just go ahead and rain if it was going to be so gray and overcast. Not pretty at all. The the wind has been coming on the sunny days. Listen to me complain!

Love your leaf cut out of your beautiful watercoloured and gold paint splattered background. How clever to cut out your butterfly from your leaf and attach separately:-) Love the effect. TFS Ros and joining our CAS Watercolour Challenge. Hugs...

Super lovely card with the water colored leaf and butterfly! Love the gold specks, too! Dreary day here, too. I think more rain is on the way! Have a good rest of the week!

A gorgeous leaf, Ros! I love how you've "freed" the butterfly from it! Very clever! Thanks so much for sharing with us at CAS Watercolour!
