Birthday Boy

Hello!
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and Santa was very kind to you.
Are you looking forward to the New Year?I know we are...
2017 has been a tough year for us and today I go for a pre-op assessment for my surgery due in just over a weeks' time so I'm hoping that in a few months time hubby and I will be able to enjoy life again.

I can hardly believe that Mikey will be 35 tomorrow... Oh my, where did those years go? How I miss those little arms around my neck and smothering him in kisses that always made him giggle. Now he's over 6 foot tall, far too big for me pick up and cuddle but he'll always be my baby.

You probably know that he adores animals and especially cats, so here's the birthday card I've made for him

Of course the cats are supposed to represent Ginger Boy and Missy - The 'birthday wishes' was cut on my cameo

It's freezing cold here today but so far we are not bogged down with snow... I do hope you are keeping safe and warm and wish you all a beautiful day

Time sure does fly! Happy Birthday to your sweet son--so glad he's close by. He will of course love this card, Ros! Wonderfully designed--great die cut sentiment with the candle & love it in glitter, but the stamped sentiment puts this over the top! Glad your surgery is almost here so you can get relief & enjoy 2018! If I could push a button & be there, I would! Sending love & hugs to you, my sister friend--Greta

Awwwww...cute, cute card Ros and I'm sure Mikey will LOVE it!! It really is amazing how quickly they grow up isn't it?! Our oldest will be 29 this next year and that just blows me away...how could I have aged that much?!!! Hope all goes well with your pre-op appointment and that 2018 is definitely a healthier year for both you and your hubby!! Take care my friend and stay warm too...been frigid here in Michigan (-7 when I got up this morning!!).

Oh, I know how time flies. My baby is 42 and I have to remind myself not to treat him like a kid. We never get over that, though. I adore your card! It's sweet and perfect for your animal-loving Mikey. Such a soft, pretty background and cute, wide-eyed kitties. My son is an animal lover, too, and I think that says good things about a person. I'm looking forward to YOU having a healthier, happier, stronger new year!

Ros this is brilliant! Mikey will love this! Of course I LOVE Ginger-boy; as handsome as alaways. And Missy rules the house:)
Geesh Ros; 35.....it seems like yesterday...just as you wrote.

I hope you are ok; and not too much pain. It's been so cold here. ANd I have the idea the we haven't had any sun since the last week of October. But at home it;s warm and comfy:)
Thinking of you...
