Shadow Box Card

Morning everyone...
How's your week going?

I've another shadow box card to share that I made for my old high school friend who will be celebrating her birthday soon... I made a 5x5" card this time and yes that little seagull got in on the act again Lol!
I figured that her lovely hubby will be taking her off on some wonderful holiday for her birthday so I made my card with a beach theme

I'm getting quite addicted to these type of cards...
The background was printed but the numbers and the shell (inside) are done using the faux enamel technique with gold, silver and white embossing powders

The trees are coloured with Copics and I stamped some birds on the BG

These cards are not easy to photograph though... That's the only downside.

It's turned cool here and it's very dull but according to the weather reports we are expecting another little heatwave... Well, so they say.

I hope you are enjoying your day, thanks for your visit

~ Ros~

Oh, you can have such fun making these cards! It's so cute and perfect for your girlfriend. I want to try a bridge card someday. Back from a week's vacation and taking time to catch up. Someday I'll stamp again, sigh...
