Christmas Critters

Hello and good morning!

Thanks so much for your tips and tricks for colds and flu... I'm feeling a lot better

I have some Christmas cards for you today... A little different but strangely enough I have quite a few friends who are animal lovers Lol!
So first up a couple of cards for my cat lover friends

When I stamp animals I usually do a few at a time... It uses up the bits of card and it's therapeutic to colour them so these were just waiting to be used

In fact most of these cards were from spares or leftovers

This one is for my friend Helen who's cat Teddy comes here daily

This is Teddy

Looks a bit like him don't you think

And I couldn't leave out those hens...

Not that I know what a french hen looks like

Nor could I forget those gulls

I made a few of them

I used the hat stamp and die from the AE Gnome Christmas set and they fit perfectly
See, not doing Thursday Club has given me so much more time to play and I love it

Have a beautiful day

Oh Roz...ALL of these cards are absolutely FABULOUS!! Those kitty cards are so dang cute, and the seagull ones too, but my favorite is the three French hens...oh how they crack me up!! You've masked them perfectly and I'm loving the sentiment too...did you computer generate that, or is it from a stamp set? Cute, CUTE cards and glad you're having so much fun with your extra time!! Glad to hear you're feeling better too! Have a great week my friend!! :0)

Yey to more time Ros.....
Fun and personal 'cat' cards and yes you can clearly see that Teddy modelled for your card!
Great use of all your spares and leftovers x.
Had a little giggle about the three French hens, so clever and really fun. Lets just say that's what French hens look like x.
That gull always raises a smile and doesn't he look grand in his Christmas hat? Love the stamped garland around him too x.
Enjoy your week and make time for yourself x
Hugs

Wow Ros, I'm so glad you are feeling better otherwise we probably wouldn't see such fabulous cards today! Love them all, so hard to say which is my favourite. I really like the card you make that looks like the real Teddy, as well as the 'gull' card. Teddy looks like a lovely cat, reminds me of my sons cat Wisket - who looks similar to Teddy where he is grey, Wisket is black with the white paws and face. Thanks for sharing a wonderful assortment of cards today Ros!

Oh, Ros, this was the MOST fun! I'm so glad I finally made it here. This post is my first stop on your blog and it gave me such a giggle. The French hens just cracked me up. I don't know what French hens look like, either, but I love these! The kitties and the gulls... well, you know I'm an animal lover. Your CAS designs with the dies are so clever, and the awesome wreath on the gull cards -- fantastic! And look how many Christmas cards you have now! I'm sorry to hear you were sick, but glad you're feeling better now.

What cleverly designed cards for your animal loving friends Ros, and these images are not typically Christmas ones but they work beautifully used in this way. More free time for your own cardmaking is definitely a bonus. x

I meant to add that Teddy reminds me of a grey cat we had at home when I was young...he looks quite a character. x

OMGosh these cards are fabulous, couldn't pick a favorite if I had to!! You have the cutest stamps and you use them so brilliantly!! Your neighbors cat looks exactly like my 'Soot' kitty, black on the nose and all (which is how she got her name) lol! Fell better and take care my friend!!
