Rainy Monday

Hello there...

I hope you had a good weekend...
Whilst I was going through some bits last week to make cards, I came across a piece I painted probably sometime early last year... Anyway I made it into a card

I used my Gansai Tambi paints and I suppose I thought is was too much... I usually have more empty space, but I just got carried away

Revisiting it, I like it more now than I did... Crazy!

It's a very dull and wet day and I decided to sort out some cupboards in my kitchen... Why am I keeping stuff that has never seen the light of day in years? Well not anymore... I'm slowly getting around to decluttering everywhere! Well... When I'm not creating or sewing or crocheting or visiting your blogs which I am just about to do now...

Have a great day

This is so pretty Ros and has that dreamy summer day look and love the bright red poppies with the soft green and blue, and just a touch of spattering...perfect! x

Oh Ros how you make me smile...decluttering...tell me about it , it must be catching as we are on a mission at this end too! Why do we keep things?...cos they may come in and you can guarantee that the minute you dispose if it...you want it!..lol. Anyway to your beautiful card...it really is pretty and certainly not too much. Funny how our tastes change over time and sometimes it only needs one to walk away from a project, come back to it later and see it in a different light. I love your poppies and so glad you found them! Hugs, have a good week...wet here and windy! xx

This is so pretty Ros and I love how vibrant the poppies are. The die cut sentiment was a perfect finishing touch. I've been going to clear out cupboards since Christmas because I know I won't bother when the weather is good, but they are still waiting! There's always something more interesting to do.
Have a good week.
Hugs

Very artsy and so beautifully water coloured. Love how you've done this Ros and looking forward to seeing more like it too x. Well done you on de-cluttering and yes I wonder too why we keep it all!....

Such a pretty card Ros - don't know why you weren't too keen in the first place 'cos I think it's fab!
We've just had a kitchen refurb. I have taken old pans, a steamer (never used in the last 6 years) to the charity shop and chucked out piles of junk from kitchen drawers! New kitchen and I now have 2 cupboards and 2 drawers going spare!!!

Oh decluttering is very fashionable at present! It's great that you didn't throw this away - it's gorgeous.

I love this, I can’t stop looking at it. And I wish I can find time to sort out things, my list is just getting longer and longer.

Ros, I love your background, watercolour perfection :)
Now as far as the cupboard clean out, you are just making me feel guilty I should be doing that :)

When you finish there you can come help me--haha! I did finally get a start cleaning out one closet, but so much more to go! Your card is gorgeous, Ros--glad you didn't get rid of that painting!

Good heavens, I can't imagine NOT being happy with this gorgeous painting! I'm glad you took another look at it and decided to make a card. Seems to have a good lot of white space. Seriously, Ros, WOW! Decluttering... I'm a fanatical declutterer so I know whereof you speak!

Well I just love your "carried away" painting Ros, so glad you found it and made it into a card to share, it just caught my eye straight away, love the colours and watery background... as for those cupboards and decluttering - a flood helped us immensely downstairs and I'm hoping that my efforts upstairs isn't just moving to different cupboards...good luck

Love this card! Love the colors!
I totally hear you, I used to love moving but after this move, I realized that I have too much stuff, stuff that I don't even touch them and they have been following me from New York (3 moves) to Vegas (2 moves), I really need to get rid of them, but every time when I dig them out from the boxes, very little would go to the goodwill bag, what is wrong with me??
